(Gertrude Stein) Maybe that's why 2016 brings in a new trend in flowers. I am very excited about one particular floral trend this bridal season. Lush greenery and vibrant blossoms create whimsical floral designs. Bouquets that appear to be gathered straight from a wild garden are everywhere...and i love it! Here are a few of my favorites.
This lovely bouquet is filled with lilacs and lambs ear.
The entire wedding is featured on the Magnolia Rouge blog.
This bright and full bouquet featuring peonies was created by Rebecca Shepherd. I worked with her once two years ago for this wedding and I am a big fan of her designs.
The wild and luxurious floral theme continues right onto your table design as you can see with this gorgeous centerpiece also created by Rebecca Shepherd.
And we can't forget about our grooms. Don't just stick a rose on his lapel. Look at these beauties created by Rebecca Shepherd (top) and Crimson & Clover (bottom).
Hey Bride featured this amazing bouquet on Instagram. A-MA-ZING! Perfect for a woodland wedding.
The artists at Crimson & Clover create these beautiful bridesmaids bouquets in a variety of colors.
If this style appeals to you, you don't have to learn the names of all of this herbage. But you should find yourself a trusted florist. Bring them your vision and your pictures. Let their talent and artistry create the perfect arrangements for your wedding. Don't leave flowers for the last minute. Shop for your florist early. Unique flowers may need to be ordered up to six weeks in advance. (Remember, flowers ship from all over the world.) Be flexible with your ideas but stick to your budget. As we have discussed before, flowers can be pricey. Figure out how much you want to spend and let your florist know so that they can use your funds effectively to create your designs.
