I recently helped a friend through a Moroccan themed bridal shower. It was inspired by the Bride's heritage (she's half Lebanese) and host's love of Middle Eastern food (since she's half Jordanian). The photo below was found on Pinterest and created the inspiration for the decoration.
With a modest budget, we were able to create this...
We purchased tulle from a fabric store, lights and the paper lantern from Amazon, and 3M clips to hang them all. Once the lights went down, the room lit up beautifully.
Tea lights brought a warm intimate feeling to the decor.
The table was set with deep red linens. A framed menu headed the table as guests served themselves. A silk gold table runner lined the center of the table. Lanterns, candles, tea pots, flowers and bowls of olives lined the center of the buffet table.
Authentic Jordanian desserts brought the meal to an end.
Guests were given a small cookie wrapped in a sweets sleeve to take home.
The happy couple loved their event, so it was a success!
